If you do not like the weather

Wow! It’s raining again today . . . every day.  The Hollyhocks and all their flowery friends love it. They are taller than me now . . . covered with flowers of every color.
Thank you, Great Spirit, for making the earth so happy.

OH, AND NOW . . . THERE’S THE SUN BACK!
Everyday Rain . . . Sun . . . Rain . . . Sun.  Here’s the famous Colorado saying: “If you don’t like the weather, wait ten minutes.”

It’s time to get outside; walk, hike, camp, kayak, bike ride, Fit Court workout. Oh yah! I’ve never seen a climate as dramatic as this year and I know it’s not happening for everyone. I feel grateful.
“So here I am at the gorgeous Bear Basin Ranch in Westcliff, Colorado . . . several thousand acres of horse ranching with 10-day pack trips offered . . . some of them even in Peru.”

My friend, Liz, has a cozy cabin here and invited me to come down for an overnight to help her paint the cabin, do some hiking, and hug some horses (my favorite animal).
How could I say No! It’s been deeply relaxing.

Life has been so full this summer. Now I just had two days of connection with a longtime friend in a quiet, soothing environment (no electricity), plenty of good food, beautiful mountain scenery, and horsey kisses and snuggles.

Now it’s time to go home to supportive husband, Robert, and relax . . . soothed and ready for the next step.
         WHICH IS . . . INDIA! . . . AND CELEBRATING MY 80th BIRTHDAY!

Ah yes, I’ll be at my favorite Spiritual Center in Punjab, Northern India with five or six old friends, throughout the month of December.
I’M LEAVING NOVEMBER 28th AND WILL BE BACK DECEMBER 23rd IN TIME TO HAVE CHRISTMAS WITH ROBERT’S FAMILY IN ELIZABETH, COLORADO.

It’s been over five years since I’ve been able to make this trip to the Science of the Soul Center because of COVID and all, so I’m so excited and grateful to be going. My long, long time Spiritual teacher is there and it’s time to reach into my soul for “an upgrade” and support. How interesting that I will turn 80 years old while I’m there. I didn’t plan that, but what an incredible way to celebrate this important life landmark.

Thanks to all of you, and to Robert, for treatments in Green Mountain Falls, in our basement apartment, are working quite well and are almost always full. People are enjoying coming to this lovely little “Art” town at the foot of Pike’s Peak.
For my clients: I will be gone all of December except Friday, December 30th. But I’m here now, seeing folks every Friday until then. It’s so great for me . . . seeing and helping old friends/clients! Obviously, I’m not ready to fully retire yet. Don’t wait too long if you want an appointment because the times are filling up about two weeks out.
Warmly Warmly yours, Kathleen
